The basic structure of the injection mold can be divided into seven parts according to its function: pouring system molding parts, lateral parting, guiding mechanism, ejector device and core pulling mechanism, cooling and heating system and exhaust system.
1. The gating system refers to the plastic flow channel in the mold from the nozzle of the injection molding machine to the cavity. Ordinary gating system is composed of main channel, runner, gate, cold material cavity and so on.
2. Lateral parting and core pulling mechanism.
3. In the plastic mold, the guiding mechanism mainly has the functions of positioning, guiding and bearing a certain side pressure, so as to ensure the accurate closing of the dynamic and fixed molds. The mold clamping guide mechanism is composed of guide pillars, guide sleeves or guide holes (directly opened on the template), positioning cones, etc.
4. The ejector device mainly plays the role of ejecting the workpiece from the mold, and is composed of ejector rod or ejector tube or push plate, ejector plate, ejector rod fixing plate, reset rod and pulling rod, etc.
5. Cooling and heating system.
6. Exhaust system.
7. Formed parts It refers to the parts that make up the mold cavity. It mainly includes: punches, dies, cores, forming rods, forming rings and inserts and other parts.
